The ManFisher is a partly open world 3d adventure with survival elements. Like a classic PC game are there a quite some keys and mechanics you should learn and understand, so that you won’t die too quickly and your playing experience is up to the max.

In this post we’re going to explain the dialogues mechanic, how it works and why you need it.

Why & how to open the dialogues

Dialogues are created in order to interact with NPCs (Non Playable Characters). Interaction is a crucial mechanic of this game and you need to be able to:

• receive quests
• unlock key elements to proceed
• buy & sell items
• receive or give items
• request help or assist
• preach the Gospel
• and more…

To interact with an NPC, stand in front of it and press the key [E] when it shows on your screen you should press it (Check out: how2play | #1 KEYS ) The dialogue window will open up and you should use your mouse to point & click. Press the [Esc] key to exit again.

Let’s chat…

The dialogue window may look like this:

The left section of the window displays information about the NPC. While you are chatting with it these things may change, you should pay attention to it and make the following choices with those in mind. An NPC that is agitated or angry will be less likely to help you (etc.)

The right top section shows the conversation history; below the name in blue are your words, in green are those of the NPC.

The right middle section will display the options you have; what to say/answer. You’ll need to use your mouse to point & click the option you prefer.

The right bottom displays some info about you, which just like that of the NPC may change while you’re chatting along.

Buying & selling

To buy and sell items in this game you’ll need to use conversations with NPCs that are willing. If you ask an NPC to buy or sell something and it agrees, the available options will be displayed in the middle section:

The same as with chatting, use your mouse to point and click the options you want to buy or sell. NPCs will only sell if they have it on stock and if you have enough money.
